A defined scope. A checkable result.

Customer management (CRM)

Define how an enquiry becomes a next action. A useful CRM starts with ownership, stages and reliable information, rather than a long list of software features.

When this can help

  • Enquiries arrive through several channels and follow-up is easy to miss.
  • More than one person needs a shared view of customer status and the next action.
  • Repeated manual entry makes records inconsistent.

What the scope can include

A defined customer process

Agreed fields, stages, ownership, next actions and the information each role needs.

Configuration and connections

Configuration of the selected system and agreed enquiry sources, subject to available APIs, permissions and platform capabilities.

Migration and handover

A defined data import, duplicate-handling rules, checks on representative records and operating notes for the agreed scope.

Agree what success looks like

  1. Trace a test enquiry from capture to its assigned next action.
  2. Check required fields, stage changes and duplicate handling against agreed examples.
  3. Test the access available to each agreed role.
  4. Check an export or other agreed way to retrieve the delivered records.

What to prepare

  • The current tools and an anonymised sample of fields and records.
  • Your stages, owners, enquiry sources and follow-up expectations.
  • User roles, data access and any information that must stay restricted.

Scope and costs

Implementation is quoted in USD for the agreed process and connections. Data cleanup, migration volume and platform limits can change the scope. CRM licences, additional seats and third-party charges are separate when applicable.

Questions before you start

Do we need a new CRM product?

Not necessarily. The existing tool may support the process after configuration. A new product should be considered only when its capabilities address a defined need.

Can existing customer data be imported?

This depends on the source format, permissions and target system. We agree mapping, cleanup and checks before treating an import as complete.
